Summer Breeze Dance


Tuesdays 8-9pm, Kanata Recreation Center (KRC)

We are a group of working moms from the Saturday morning Chinese school fitness dance class. When school was over for the summer break, we started looking for an opportunity to continue dancing. We rented a small Yoga studio and packed in there. 

After the first summer session, half of the class liked my style and would like to continue. From there, we started a journey full of laughter, encouragement, friendship, and beautiful dances. 

Then the cozy yoga studio changed owner and we had to move somewhere else. Now we find our new home in KRC, and taking advantage of the bigger and better city facility. 

Life is so much better with music and dance! ;)

Summer Breeze Dance ~ Fall 2016

Tuesdays 8 - 9 pm @ KRC Fall is in full swing, so is our class. We are back together with our beautiful fans. We will learn the complete fan piece during the first half of the term, then get our arms a thorough workout in the second half. Let's try to get these two dances polished as much as we can. Looking forward to a fun and rewarding term! 风含情水含笑 Class 1 ~ September 13 After a short summer break, we take the first class to review our beautiful fan dance, patiently letting the muscle recalling the movements. ;) If it hasn't come back completely, it should by the end of next session. Class 2 ~ September 20 We have reviewed all from last session, and learned a bit more. Repeat, repeat, and repeat, accuracy is the key for now.
